<p>In Singapore there are the big 3 telecoms and another company vying to be the fourth telco. Here&#8217;s the scoop on all of these companies. For the most part each of these companies have very similar networks and pricing with only minor differences called out below. Most companies only offer Fiber and the Fiber gateways are installed in most homes by the government.</p>
<p><strong>Singtel </strong></p>
<p>Singtel is the largest by subscribers. They offer in-home Internet, home telephone lines, cable TV and pre-and post paid mobile services. They have the largest network, offering the best coverage, though they are the most expensive.</p>
<p><strong>Starhub</strong></p>
<p>They are second largest company by subscribers. They offer in-home Internet, VOIP telephones, cable TV and pre-and post-paid mobile services. Their network is very similar to Singtel&#8217;s. Currently they have a promotion which gives free roaming for pre-paid data in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and Indonesia.</p>
<p><strong>M1</strong></p>
<p>This the smallest major telco. They offer in-home internet, voip telephones, a service called M1box which is similar to Roku/Chromecast, and pre-and post-paid mobile services. Their network is the best for 3G services, so if your phone cannot work on Singapore&#8217;s LTE, M1 is a good choice. Currently they have a promotion which gives free roaming for pre-paid data in Malaysia and Indonesia.</p>
<p><strong>Myrepublic</strong></p>
<p>Myrepublic only offers in-home internet service, and is vying to become the country&#8217;s fourth telco.</p>
